A National Care Service is coming. The admin is already here.

The Prime Minister has promised a National Care Service, free at the point of delivery. Working out the organisation and the funding will take a while. In the meantime the whole sector is focused on getting more of the money it already has onto actual care.

A very large share of a care provider’s week goes on compliance registers, training renewals, contract dates and correspondence rather than on the people it looks after.
