QuantumColleagues launches Career & Beyond — a free career change tool for every generation

The UK AI-for-good company releases its first free give back: a web app that maps working life as a tree, starting from the skills people already have. No sign up, no cost, on any phone.

AI is reshaping the jobs millions of people do today. Retail, admin, driving, call centre work and bookkeeping are all being redrawn, yet most careers advice still assumes a ladder: climb it or fall behind. QuantumColleagues™, the Northamptonshire AI company built to give back, has launched a free tool that assumes a tree instead.

Career & Beyond maps working life as seven growing branches and starts from the skills a person already has. Someone who reads a room well in retail sees how that same skill anchors care and support work. Someone who runs a back office sees how, with AI handling the routine, they could run one for a whole business, or their own. Each move comes with real jobs, real pay and real first steps that can be taken this week. One branch, Beyond, covers life outside work altogether, because a life is bigger than a job.

The tool is free for every generation, from fifteen to eighty five. There is no sign up, no account and no data collected. It works on any phone and keeps working offline.

Career & Beyond is the company’s first free give back, funded by its commercial work. Businesses buy QuantumColleagues’ AI products, and that revenue funds post-AI training for everyone — a commitment protected by an asset-locked Community Interest Company that owns half the trading business.

“Career & Beyond is the first thing we have shipped that costs the person using it nothing. That matters to us. We sell AI to businesses precisely so we can build things like this. Your life was never a ladder. It’s a tree, and it’s ready to grow.”

— Jonathan Clark, Founder, QuantumColleagues™

Career & Beyond is available now at quantumcolleagues.org/career-beyond.

New UK AI company is built to give back — funding AI training for every generation

QuantumColleagues™ sells AI to businesses and reinvests in AI training for the people most at risk of being left behind by it — young people starting out, and people in later life. Giving back isn’t a side project; it’s the reason the company exists. Its first product, Proust, is available now.

A new UK AI company has launched with a simple idea at its heart: do some good with AI. QuantumColleagues™ sells AI tools to businesses, and channels what it earns into AI training for the people who stand to gain — or lose — the most as the technology spreads: young people starting their careers, and older people navigating a fast-changing world.

That purpose is built into how the company is owned. The trading business, QuantumColleagues Ltd, is half-owned by a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, Quantum Colleagues Training CIC — so a share of everything the company earns is committed to the mission, and an asset lock keeps it that way.

The giving-back has two strands. AI for Young People brings AI skills into classrooms through hands-on workshops and career sessions. AI for Later Life runs community drop-ins, one-to-one coaching, scam defence and digital inclusion for older people.

The mission is funded by a growing range of AI products for business. The first, Proust, is available now — a founder-grade AI assistant that handles inbox, calendar and a daily morning brief, set up in about ninety seconds inside a company’s own Microsoft 365. A back-office suite for smaller organisations, Admin Core, begins pilots later in 2026.

“I’ve always thought technology should leave people better off, not behind — and that belief is the whole reason QuantumColleagues™ exists. We sell genuinely useful AI to businesses, and we put what it earns into helping people, young and old, get to grips with it. We’re going to do some good with AI.”

— Jonathan Clark, Founder, QuantumColleagues™

QuantumColleagues™ is now opening a small founding circle of business owners to co-test Proust ahead of wider release. Details at quantumcolleagues.org/proust.
