News and media information from QuantumColleagues.
QuantumColleagues sells AI to businesses and reinvests in AI training for the people most at risk of being left behind by it — young people starting out, and people in later life. Giving back isn’t a side project; it’s the reason the company exists. Its first product, Proust, is available now.
A new UK AI company has launched with a simple idea at its heart: do some good with AI. QuantumColleagues sells AI tools to businesses, and channels what it earns into AI training for the people who stand to gain — or lose — the most as the technology spreads: young people starting their careers, and older people navigating a fast-changing world.
That purpose is built into how the company is owned. The trading business, QuantumColleagues Ltd, is half-owned by a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, Quantum Colleagues Training CIC — so a share of everything the company earns is committed to the mission, and an asset lock keeps it that way.
The giving-back has two strands. AI for Young People brings AI skills into classrooms through hands-on workshops and career sessions. AI for Later Life runs community drop-ins, one-to-one coaching, scam defence and digital inclusion for older people.
The mission is funded by a growing range of AI products for business. The first, Proust, is available now — a founder-grade AI assistant that handles inbox, calendar and a daily morning brief, set up in about ninety seconds inside a company’s own Microsoft 365. A back-office suite for smaller organisations, Admin Core, begins pilots later in 2026.
“I’ve always thought technology should leave people better off, not behind — and that belief is the whole reason QuantumColleagues exists. We sell genuinely useful AI to businesses, and we put what it earns into helping people, young and old, get to grips with it. We’re going to do some good with AI.”
— Jonathan Clark, Founder, QuantumColleagues
QuantumColleagues is now opening a small founding circle of business owners to co-test Proust ahead of wider release. Details at quantumcolleagues.org/proust.
