With your permission, Proust reads your Gmail inbox to triage it, prepares draft replies in your Drafts folder for your approval, and marks mail it has handled as read. It reads your Google Calendar for meeting context and your morning brief. Proust prepares work for you to approve: it does not send email to other people as you, and it cannot delete your mail. Its own messages, such as your welcome note and daily brief, come from Proust’s own mailbox, not from your account. You can review Proust’s access, and revoke it at any time, at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
